A new challenge- An Ancient Power, A New Foe.

After the corpus suffered a huge loss from losing Alad V, they planned to create a stronger general. One who has the power over all that is Corpus. They took their chance and stayed in the shadows as the Fomorian Fleet attacked the Tenno Hubs. The Corpus used the chaos of the Sol System to gather resources without being detected. They continued their small skirmishes throughout the system to avoid suspicion. As the Tenno and the Fomorian clash, the Corpus forged their new champion. They compounded an AI core equipped with unsurmountable processing capabilities. Its power core absorbs external energy and it can "devour" and atomize raw materials for its own purpose. It evolves and becomes stronger for every opponent he had put down. Upon his wake, he radiated with power and all Corpus was under him. He ordered all of his captains to gather all of his fleet and head straight to Earth. One of his captains questioned this order, for Earth is a Grineer front and with their battle units and resources almost depleted, a full-scale attack could lead to the fall of Corpus. The new general, then "devoured" his faithless captain. The general absorbed the captain's material and assumed a new evolved form, resembling an ancient creature that instill fear to its enemies, a dragon. He detected a powerful signal emitting from Earth and he wanted it for himself. The Corpus amassed a fleet for the new general and went to Earth.
The signal is being emitted by a powerful relic unearthed by the Grineer. They’ve found out that it was a relic from an ancient era. It was dated way back before the colonization of the Sol System. They hypothesized that it was a Power Stone that powered the Order of the Lotus before. But it was not the only thing that was lying dormant underneath the Earth. An infestation blight had awoken and began to wreak havoc to the Grineer miners. It was clinging to the Power Stone and was feeding off of its radiation. The dig site turned into a war zone as the Grineer tried their best to recover the artifact, but to no avail. Every platoon that was sent, was defeated by the swarm of infected blight. Losing their foothold, the Grineer retreated to regroup. And since then they have guarded the outskirts of the dig site to maintain secrecy and control.
As the Fomorian attacks were about to be concluded, The Corpus Fleet led by the new general have reached the orbit of Earth. The fleet maneuvered into a less defended sectors and broke the feeble defenses of unprepared Grineers. The Corpus plowed and forced its way to the source of the signal as fast as they could. The new commander knows that it’s only a matter of time before a barrage of Grineer fleet would come raining down on them, for they have lost the element of surprise. The new general absorbed a communication tower and hacked through their systems. This gave them a little more time, but it was not enough. The general started to hack all Grineer hardware and used it against them. This gave them the chance to reach the mine site. Sensing the wave of infested coming their way, the general ordered his units to charge head on and clear a path for him. Corpus units ran blindly towards their doom. As soon as they made contact with an infected unit, the general detonated them. He rushed towards the spire that contains the Power Stone. As he was getting close, the infested blight focused on him, swarming him with infested units. The power stone was within the general’s reach. As he grabbed the Power Stone, the infested blight clung to the general. The Power Stone reacted and emitted an energy wave killing everything in its path. As the dust settled, a shadow was casted on the scarred Earth. The general survived the blast but in his rise, he felt different. The radiation from the Power Stone was absorbed by this energy core. He felt its power pulsating through his circuits. As he assessed himself, he was intrigued by what he saw, not only the radiation of the Power Stone was absorbed by his energy core, the infested blight that was clinging to him, is now fused with his metallic body. He laughed as he felt the power he now has. He tried taking the Power Stone from the spire but even with all his might, it can’t be unanchored. He looked down and saw the devastation around him. Corpus machinery, Grineer bodies and Infested flesh laid before him. He devoured all that remained of his former comrades and foes, and for every carcass he devoured, he grew stronger. He now musters his strength by absorbing the radiation of the Power Stone and by devouring Corpus, Grineer and the Infected, absorbing their strength but rejecting their weaknesses. His cunning intellect and unpredictable attacks lay waste to everything that tried to take his precious Power Stone, like a dragon guarding his gold from the tales of old, and no this dragon does not play riddles.
